ORT Summer TR : The Off-Season

Friends,

The hot summer is here.
Spring flows have diminished and folks not yet holistically connected to rivers are dipping into tributaries for their seasonal experience and relief from the physical heat.
The ORT boys welcome this participation in addition to engaging in life.
In our off-season, this may look like:

Preparing to live and teach in the Dominican Republic.
Buying a family farm in Northern California.
Getting married.
Enjoying long peaceful hikes.
Anticipating the birth of a first son.
Taking the first class V run after recovering from an injury.
Developing a race car.
Studying to be a positive leader.
Being a professional river bum.
Training for a cage fight.
Hanging out with Hollywood,a Nigerian Dwarf goat.
Reading.
Reflecting.
Processing.
Actually floating down a run.

The team will get rolling again around December. The momentum of our relationships, training, and paddling builds until the first race in March. In developing our team and river communities, we need your help and participation. Please contact us and join in at what has evolved into being a profound and special experience in a world that frequently challenges the soul to become less than virtuous.
